At Wildfires we’re committed to doing all that we can to ensure that the festival is accessible for everyone. We have a team focused on supporting those with additional needs in each children and youth venue, as well as in the Big Top.
We are very pleased to announce that we now have mobility scooters available for hire from a local company: Much More Mobility. These will need to be booked and paid for in advance and can be delivered directly to the Wildfires site; please contact Much More Mobility to arrange this on sales@muchmoremobility.co.uk or +44 1273 775 123.
We have a hearing loop in the Big Top and signers will be available in a designated area for all main sessions. There will also be an additional needs team on standby if anyone needs additional support. A limited number of earplugs and ear defenders will be available at the main venue.
We also have our own space, with craft and sensory activities. This quiet space is open during the main morning and evening sessions and is supported by the venue’s additional needs team. During the afternoons, this venue is open for anyone under 18 with additional needs as a safe space to play. Parents must supervise their children during these sessions.
Please take a look at our FAQs page or get in touch and we will do our best to help.
