Pete and Sarah Portal live in Manenberg, Cape Town, with their two young children Simi and Luca. They are part of Tree of Life, a 24-7 Prayer Community centred on ministering Jesus’ love and freedom to young men and women caught up in lifestyles of drug addiction, violent crime and gangsterism. They are passionate about seeing an awakening of the Holy Spirit amongst those on the margins of society.

They are also both authors. Sarah recently wrote ‘With Me Always’, a childrens’ book exploring the presence of God in places of pain and trauma. Pete’s most recent book, ‘How to be (Un)successful’ casts a vision for reorienting success around faithfulness to Jesus.
