    Getting There

    Wildfires is held on the beautiful grounds of Wiston House Estate:

    BY CAR

    If you are arriving by car, please use the above address in your sat nav which will direct you to Wiston Estate. 

    When you arrive at Wiston Estate, please come in the Green Gate entrance and follow signs to the Wildfires Brown Parking and Ticket Gate.  

    Parking is free in the car park and then you will continue on foot to your camping pitch. There will be trolleys available for hire to help you transport your luggage.  

    Please note: you will not be able to access the site through Mouse Lane in Steyning village or through the main Big Church Day Out entrance.


    BY PLANE

    The nearest airport to Wiston Estate is London Gatwick. The journey by car or taxi from London Gatwick to Wiston Estate is about 45 minutes, and from London Heathrow it’s about 1 hour 15 minutes.

    There are lots of trains running regularly from Gatwick Airport to Shoreham-by-Sea station. You will need to arrange your own transfer from the station to the site. 


    BY TRAIN

    The nearest station to Wiston Estate is Shoreham-by-Sea.

    You will either need to arrange a taxi transfer to the Wildfires campsite or get the Shuttle Bus. The journey between site and the station is approximately 15-20 minutes.

    ARRIVAL AND TIMINGS

    If you have bought a Wildfires ticket you are welcome to arrive from the Friday 26th May. Your ticket includes access to Big Church Festival – so why not make the most of 5 days for the price of 3. Ticket gates will close at 10pm. However, if you arrive after this time then we will allow you to camp. You will then need to go back to the Camping ticket gate in the morning to collect your wristbands.

    The Wildfires programme runs from Monday 29th May with our first session starting at 10am. The programme finishes on the evening of 31st May, but please stick around for the post Wildfires party. Gates will be open 9am-10pm daily.

    OPENING HOURS

    Friday 26th May 
    The car parks open at 12pm. Camping & ticket gates will close at 10pm.

    Saturday 27th May –Wednesday 31st May
    Car parks open at 9am and ticket gates open at 9am. Camping & ticket gates close at 10pm.

    MR TROLLEY

    In attendance at Wildfires, this year will be Mr Trolley, a trolley hire service to help you carry all your kit from your car to where you decide to camp.

    Our trolley pick up point will be located in the car park, near the entrance to the campsite. 

    First, a hire form must be completed and a £30 deposit taken. Then a trolley is provided with bungees and safe use is explained.
