Villages are additional marquees, tables, chairs and electrics you can hire from Wildfires. There are a limited number of these available. Your Village is the perfect place to gather your community or church, eat together, shelter out of the rain, and a central place for hanging out. Villages also come with a fire pit (wood provided daily).
Please note, if you have registered a group this does not automatically mean you are able to camp together, only villages or hamlets are allocated space and these need to be booked separately.
Please note applications for Villages are now CLOSED. For more details please email info@wildfiresfestival.com
CAMPING MIGHT NOT FOR EVERYONE, BUT WE DEFY ANYONE TO NOT ENJOY GLAMPING!
Glampers will be located in the exclusive Glamping area where you’ll find all those essential home comforts, including luxury toilets and bigger showers. Treat yourself in the deluxe pamper tent which includes table mirrors, hair dryers & straighteners, so you can feel as fresh as a daisy the whole weekend. The Glamping area also has a kitchen tent with access to hot water and a fridge, making it easy to store and grab a snack at any time. You will also have your own tea and coffee station so you can avoid the queues in the main site!
Please book your glamping tents using the form which can be found here. You will also need to purchase Festival Tickets for all adults, youth, and children in your party via the main booking form to ensure entry, but you do not need to add any of the camping ticket options on that form.
When you book your ticket, you can choose to book your ticket with your church in the drop down menu. This does not mean you will be automatically placed with your church, but you can absolutely camp together!
If your church has opted to be part of a Village you will automatically be placed with them on the camping site.
If your church is not part of a Village you can find a pitch anywhere in the General Camping area. For larger groups, we recommend arriving in good time to secure a space if you wish to camp together as we are unable to allocate areas for each group.
Speak with your church leader if you’re unsure where you are camping.
You can bring your own safe camping stoves but fire regulations mean that open fires and low level disposable type BBQ’s are not allowed. Waist-high, contained off-the-ground BBQ’s with wind-protecting side panels are permitted.
Fireworks, smoke canisters, floating / paper / sky lanterns, and other similar items are not permitted. Any person in possession of such items may be refused admission or ejected.
You’ll need to purchase a camping, caravanning, or glamping ticket in addition to your Wildfires event ticket. The camping ticket covers the cost of a pitch for camping but you’ll need to arrange your own tent. Glamping tickets include your luxury bell tents with double or single camp beds, bedding & blankets, side tables, extra rugs, camping lanterns, and deck chairs.
Only Students and Adults need to purchase a camping ticket per person.
The Wildfires programme runs from Thursday 24th July and will finish on the afternoon of 27th July, with everybody offsite by 3pm. Camping is available for up to these 3 nights.
If it’s a small lightweight trailer tent that can be pulled safely by hand, then you can camp on the main campsite. If it needs motorised support, then your trailer tent will need to be parked in the caravan field. You’ll need to purchase a caravan ticket for the trailer tent.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to allow tents alongside caravans. The only exception to this would be a small 2-3 person tent for dependent children.
This completely depends on space once the majority of caravaners are in. We are expecting the site to be busy but please kindly check with the campsite team if you’re able to set an awning up and they’ll be able to let you know if there’s space.
To keep everyone safe, the campsite is a vehicle-free zone. This means that caravans and campervans will be located in their own section of the campsite. Unfortunately if you have friends camping in tents, you won’t be able to have your caravan or motorhome next to their tent. However, this is a short walk away from the general camping area, where you are welcome to enter to socialise with your church.
No, this year we are excited that we can offer all under 18’s can camp free of charge.
Camping spots are allocated on arrival, and if you are part of a churches or networks, they will be allocated by your team. Please follow signs when you arrive on the campsite. There are no restrictions on tent sizes.
To make everyone on-site as safe as possible, our campsite is vehicle free.
When you arrive at Wildfires, you will be directed into one of our designated car parks for campers. You’ll need to carry your luggage from there to your camping pitch. Trailer tents will have to be manually towed. We will have some trolleys available for use but cannot cater to everyone so we suggest you bring your own if possible.
Before finding a place to pitch you’ll need to visit the camping ticket gate to collect your wristbands, and where you can pick up a programme and ask any questions. The campsite team will be on hand to direct you and help you to settle in. If you’re registered disabled and need to camp in the Accessible campsite, please tell the camping team on arrival. If you have specific accessibility challenges we have a golf buggy allocated to assist.
Please note that arriving later may mean a slightly longer walk to get to the campsite as the car park begins to fill up.
